Statement of Faith

Employees of Cornerstone Christian must believe and publicly acknowledge a belief in the divine inspiration of the Bible, that God created the world out of nothing, that Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior is the pre-existent Son of God and was born of a virgin, that He died to pay the price of the sins of all people, that He was bodily resurrected from the grave, and that, by repentance and acceptance of and belief in Him, by God's grace, the individual is saved to abundant and eternal life in the presence and power of the Triune God. The teachings of this school shall never deviate from the above principles. As staff members and servants of God, our employees pledge to perform their duties so as to make the greatest possible contribution to the intellectual and spiritual welfare of the students entrusted to their care. Employees shall cooperate to the fullest extent with fellow workers and those entrusted with the administration and operation of Cornerstone Christian Academy.

Requirements and Qualifications

Elementary and Middle School

Minimum Teacher Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in education
  • Texas Educator Certificate (not ATC)
  • Previous teaching experience
  • Active membership in a Christian church

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

  • Honors and AP experience
  • Master’s degree

  • Director of Admissions

    Cornerstone Christian Academy is accepting applications for Admissions Director. 


    This full-time position requires a BS or BA from an accredited college, excellent organization and research ability with strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communications skills.  Previous Admissions experience preferred. Qualified applicants must submit their resume

    Job Responsibilities

    • Oversee the Admissions office including the creation of policies and procedures
    • Create and manage admissions budget
    • Present the school to prospective candidates and their families primarily through personal communication and tours of the campus
    • Systematically and efficiently handle the admissions process from the point of inquiry to enrollment
    • Arrange and conduct admission testing for prospective candidates; secure necessary student credentials; communicate final decisions to the candidates
    • Coordinate all re-enrollment activity with constant monitoring of attrition and retention
    • Coordinate and participate in all recruitment efforts including creating marketing materials, mailings, and publications
    • Work with members of the administration and faculty to organize specific retention efforts at key grade levels
    • Prepare, maintain, and interpret statistics regarding enrollment, re-enrollment, financial aid, and attrition for key members of the administrative staff
    • Maintain and prepare statistical reports of turnover per grade to head of school
    • Track and report the number of applications versus admitted students to the number of acceptances after an offer is extended
    • Maintain student files ensuring that they are complete and current
    • Manage/participate in the administration of all financial aid and scholarship programs with the Head of School and Financial Aid Committee
    • Evaluate and continually redesign where appropriate all aspects of the admissions and marketing programs with the goal of maintaining a capacity enrollment of qualified students and a wait pool of qualified applicants
    • Direct and organize open houses
    • Update school website, social media, and publications as needed regarding admissions information
    • Serve as a member of the Financial Aid and Leadership Committee
    • Oversee the network of parents and students to assist in the recruitment/admissions program
    • Oversee and coordinate the Student Ambassador Program
    • Coordinate marketing plan and budget with Advancement Office
    • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Extended Care Aides

    Cornerstone Christian Academy is currently accepting applications for part-time Extended Care Aides.  Aides monitor and care for students (ages 2 through 8th grade) before and after school.  To apply, please submit an application to  If you have any questions, please email Terri Cagle, Extended Care Coordinator at
