Workouts will be high energy, high intensity combining cardiovascular/resistance training and functional training. Activities may include but are not limited to circuits using own body weight and a variety of equipment, strength and flexibility stations focusing on major muscle groups and core, obstacle courses, and team challenges.
- This class is designed to help students work on developing cardiovascular and muscular endurance, teamwork, and perseverance of physical and mental challenges.
- Proper form and technique will be emphasized, while muscle awareness (names of major muscle groups and their primary functions) will be a major focus.
- All movements will be taught safely and effectively under the close supervision of Coach Nuño, certified personal trainer. Personal assessments of progress will be taken throughout the year.
