Financial Aid Information 2020 – 2021
CCA uses FACTS Grant and Aid (A Nelnet company) to process applications for financial aid. Completed applications are due to FACTS on or before March 1, 2020. Applications submitted after this date are subject to availability of funds after initial awards are processed.
Financial aid applications are only considered for families who have applied and been accepted into Cornerstone Christian Academy. Aid is not available for preschool students. The maximum tuition assistance that can be awarded is 50% of annual tuition. Your application cannot be considered by CCA until your supporting financial information is verified by FACTS. It is your responsibility to make sure FACTS receives and verifies all of your information on or before March 1, 2020. Once all information has been received by FACTS, please allow several weeks for your application to be verified.
NOTE: Award decisions are not made by FACTS, but by Cornerstone Christian Academy. No information regarding awards will be released to parent applicants by FACTS. If you have any questions, please contact Kristi Armstrong in the Business Office.
Re-Enrollment is an annual data collection process that schools use to update enrollment records of the current student body. This information is used as the school makes plans for the following school year. Basically, the simple question is: “Are you coming back to school next year?” For our leadership team at Cornerstone Christian Academy, we need to know how many students we will have on the first day of school.
Once all of our families are on the CCA Continuous Enrollment Program, the typical re-enrollment season (February 1-28) will simply be a communication reminder from the Admissions Office informing the families that might be thinking about leaving our school to notify us prior to the end of February.
CCA families that are re-enrolled, but break the contract by disenrolling after February 28th, will be contractually obligated to pay a tuition penalty dependent on the date of disenrollment. Enrollment fees are non-refundable.
I hereby opt into continuous enrollment. This means that my CCA students will keep coming back to CCA every year unless I tell the school otherwise.
I understand that I have until the end of February every year to notify the Cornerstone Christian Academy Admissions Office of any changes in my plans of enrollment for my child/ren.
If I breach this contract by disenrolling my child/ren after February 28th, I understand that I will be contractually obligated to pay a penalty. If I disenroll my child/ren, I understand that the re-enrollment fee is non-refundable.
Unique Circumstances: Cornerstone Christian Academy recognizes that family plans change. For any unique circumstances (such as the following), families disenrolling after the announced deadline will be exempt from the tuition penalty:
Moving/Relocation 50+ miles away from Cornerstone Christian Academy.
Educational needs for the student that can no longer be met at Cornerstone Christian Academy as determined by the Head of School.
In the past, there has been a $600 re-enrollment fee per student. This year, the re-enrollment fee will be cut in half and will be a $250 re-enrollment fee per student.
We’ve built flexibility into this contract. So, for major life changes/unique circumstances like moving 50+ miles away from our school, or if CCA can no longer meet your child’s educational needs, if we ask your family to leave, or if there is some unforeseen circumstance that our Head of School approves, there will be no financial penalty.
Continuous Enrollment will start in February 2018. Contracts are due by the end of February 2018. We look forward to serving CCA families in this way and making the process even more convenient!
Guaranteed placement. With increasing enrollment, we are either at or near wait lists in many of our grades. Placement in next year’s class is an increasingly sought after spot. By opting into continuous enrollment, you’ll be locking down that coveted seat for your child until graduation.
The CCA Admissions Office will send you a personalized E-mail with easy step-by-step instructions through the process. You’ll have until February 28th to complete it.
